The tour is a full day tour so you can have the option to start any time between 8am and 10am. Expect up to 8 hours for your adventure, but we can shorten it if. required. We can work out what is best, once you know your ‘all aboard’ time. 

Historic City of Chester

A circular route, your shore excursion begins with a journey to the Roman city of Chester. Walk a section of the Roman walls, visit the amphitheatre and explore the promenade along the River Dee. 

Journey into North Wales

Leaving Chester, your driver/guide continues west into North Wales. The landscape transitions from countryside to coastal scenery, with views of the Snowdonia mountain range as you approach the Welsh coast.

Medieval Conwy

In Conwy, visit Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A short walk leads to the harbour and the smallest house in Britain. 

Llandudno & the Great Orme

What time will we return to the cruise ship?

Your private tour is planned around your ship’s schedule, typically starting between 8am and 9.30am. Example timing: start at 8am and be back for 4.30pm;  Start at 9am and be back for 5.30pm. We always start at the furthest point and work our way back to Liverpool. We, of course, adjust timings in the event of unexpected delays or traffic. 

Is this tour only suitable for cruise ship passengers?

How much walking is involved?

Walking is light to moderate depending on your preference and always optional. In Chester, you may walk parts of the Roman walls or explore the city. The floating aqueduct has flat walking paths. The pace is always set by your group.

Are entrance fees included?
